A kitchen extension project, opening up an inside/ outside family living space at the rear of the property, leading to a private terraced area in Twyning, Tewkesbury. Excavations involved removing 60 tonnes of spoil from the garden with poor access, and some technical working around the existing property drainage.
The challenges involved the true level threshold from inside to outside, the glazing and framework interactions with the structural steel frame, and architectural elements interacting with the finishes, elevations and position for the kitchen island, recessed TV, renovating an existing utility space, and introducing a WC space
